How do i move partbodies

I would like to move a partbody without the transformation being stored. A perminant move! Does anyone know how to do this? I believe its in the compass but I cant quite figure it out.

You can click and drag the center of the compass onto a face of the solid. The compass will then be highlighted green, and you can click and drag the axes of the compass to move the part body accordingly.

Yes this is what i did but the objects added to the part did not move corectly. I believe I may have stumbled onto the difference in add and assemble. If the added bodies were assembled they probably would have moved with the partbody. Thanks for the advise. I suppose I can edit the compass with coodinates to move the part like in assemblies too.

I would use the axis to axis translation, seems to allow only one partbody to move.
