Thanks Exxit for the tips, I will used both programs recommended. Some time Autocad just drives me crazy with simple things ommitted like plot files that cannot be plotted thru Autocad. Why do we have to pay the big buck for upgrades that do not address common issue. But Autocad is one of the standard like windows so that does help when dealing with clients.

Hi,
I think You have to check Your procedure.
AC is not a plot-program.
Are You the editor of the plotfiles? Why don't You plot directly?
I plot every drawing into a file (*.plt) and then I use a "plot-directer". It works fine.
How do Yo work?

I run my own electrical engineering office, I do everything. I plot directly from my drawings. But I also run into client that only have plt file available. I also use contract help and I would like to see what they are senting to the repro offices before they are sent. I have been using autocad since version 12 was new, but I am still learning. Thanks for the help.
