I have a whole lot of Solidworks 2010 drawings that have 10 worksheets to each file. My job is to split each worksheet up into individual files instead of the "10 pack" There has to be an easier way to do this than a lot of copy and pasting and renaming.

A macro could probably be developed for that.

Meantime;
Save as the drawing to a new name
Repeat 9 times
Open each drawing
Delete the unwanted sheets
Repeat

I have tried to create a macro for it. The only thing my macro does without freezing solidworks up is paste and fit.

does anyone know how to use a macro to do the following, in the order its read...

-open new file (after you copy a worksheet)
-paste the worksheet in the new file
-fit to screen (F)
-delete worksheet 1 (Sheet1)

Here is a link to Lenny's site. He has some macros that might either do what you need... or at least be a good starting point for your task.

DocExport - might be able to be used to automatically export out the sheets of your drawing to new files.
RebuildDrawing - you might be able to add to this macro to do what you want.
