Hi,

We used to use Stretch curve when we want to change the length of multiple curves in on shot. In NX1879, that command is no longer available.

How can we get this back?

I am still testing the new NX series but in 12.0.2 the Stretch Curve command pop-up says it will be superseded by Scale Curve. I hope it still has the functionality you require. You can search for it with Command Finder in the upper right.

HI Tingsryd,

No Scale curve does not do what stretch curve can do. Also I found out that All legacy commands will show up in NX1872 by searching for "All Legacy" in the command finder.

Iam not sure why Siemens would remove such a good option in NX.

Perhaps a Siemens dev person can chime in on this topic. If not then I would try posting in the Siemens Design Community forum or try calling support.

Oh, i had not noticed this one missing.
Stretch curve is THE tool used when fine tuning drawing borders.,
if i want to move n text-notes plus stretch lines together ( simple & quick ) i use the Stretch curve, type in a small value and press apply until i am satisfied.
why Siemens thinks we should do drawing borders as sketches is above my head. Parametric things for parametric tasks. A drawing border is VERY static, i don't think i have changed the lines in the border since 2007...

But, what you should do is put in an IR to Siemens on this, and ,
the important thing when writing this IR, state how much time/money you loose when using available features instead of the missing feature,
If you can't state that, Siemens will not bother. "Love of a feature" is not counted.

Regards,
Tomas
