Well this isn't so much a technical question as a procedural question. What method do you use to populate rivets in your bill of materials. I currently need to insert the rivet (as a solid) into the assembly in order to "call out" the rivet using the automated item baloon, and to populate the bill of materials. I know that many people on here have different methods of representing rivets, but I am curious how you "call out" the rivet on the face of a drawing (for those of you making drawings) and how do you populate your Parts List?

we don't count "rivets" in our BOM. We do represent them in 3-D by a series of points and vectors in their appropriate location, but these are all in a single model.
