How does the load look like in this model? [COMSOL]

Screenshots below show how the load is setup; however I fail to visualize in my head how this load acts on the structure. This is a cell periodicity study that does representetive volume element and periodic boundary conditions for microstructure, and I have been told its supposed to be uniaxial compression, but I fail to see how the model below give uniaxial compression:

Picture below shows hydrostatic and uniaxial compression from a related paper, but I think in the setup above there is only uniaxial compression. From COMSOL's website: "A number of load groups will be created under Global Definitions. They are collected in a group named Load Groups for Cell Periodicity. The load groups correspond to unit loads along different axes."

Recommended for you

Run the stress analysis with this load and check the deformed shape. Scale it, animate it and use array to visualize larger piece of the structure. These operations should show you how the load actually acts.
