I have an inner gear that has DP = 4 (m = 6.35), nr. of teeth = 85 (inner gear) and inner diameter 540mm. Profile is (most likely) inv. stub. (not much data was given to me)
after some number crunching i've come to a possible PSC x = -0.8 and reference diameter 539.75 (note that that's smaller then the tip diamater - inner dia).
how do i describe this to a guy that's used to american style gear definitions? (i think they use something with addendums and dedendums).
also, what's bugging me is that the ref. dia is smaller then the inner dia, but that's the most likely solution for the given inner dia (i think).
i can attach a Kisssoft report if someone wants it (will understand it).
thanks.
