Hi for all the people.
I need your help.
I work for a Ball Valves company.
And I must calculate the SIL (safety integrated Level), for an Ball Valve family.
If Is possible, calculate whit out and 3 Th part (do it your self)?.
I have the FMEAD and the Proven in use (the experience in aplication, is for 15 years).
But I don't Know, the next step.
Could some Help me? (free softw, etc, etc).
Tanks in advance.

Andreu,
as far as I can remember, the reference standards themselves (e.g.: IEC 61508) should give the calculation methods...

In any case, you probably might find some more useful hint reading thread408-180990 and thread408-228654 within this Forum.

Regards, 'NGL
