How plotting (displaying) the results on the model itself is done

I plot the results along a profile (path) taken through my model (as a Y axis). But I want to view (display) these results on the model itself so that the the person looking at the model sees clearly and directly on the model where exactly this plotted response is .
I have found that using Overlay is very constraining unless i do not figure out how doing so.

You could try using a separate viewport if you don't want to use overlay.

yes I got that problem and the best I found is to set different viewports.
does any one know how to plot a 3D graph like matlab in abaqus?

The problem is that the windows of the different viewports are not transperent to each other becuase of the border of each window ( the blue border of the windows ) How you guys did you do it. I am really puzzled how I do it.
The other thing is please after I work on the ODB how can I save the session. I have gone to save option and saved the OdB but I open it again and found in unsaved (several hours of work on the ODB files) have been lost

I'm not sure how to remove the borders of the viewports either, though these can be removed for printing. Why you can't have a print preview in Viewer to see the final picture without the borders is a mystery to me.

In Viewer you can't save the session, as such, but your commands are always written to the .rpy file. Rename the file and run it next time you load the odb file. It'll run through all your previous commands and leave you where you last eneded the previous session.

PLease confirm :
"Rename the file : Do you mean that after I work on the ODB I save it under a different name ?
"and run it next time you load the odb file": do you mean that I reopen the file again under the new name.

After I give it a new name : can I delet the old Odb file
(Because As you know ODB file take a lot of memory (mine takes around 10 GP)
