Hi, all,

This is Raby.
Here I have a question: how to estimate a part weight in proe? I have some idea that in "set-up", there's some order to do, but I really have little knowledge about this function. Could you give me some detail instruments? Thanks.

raby,

Use the following menu picks:

#Analysis; #Model Analysis

Select Model Mass Properties from the pull down menu (should be the default).

Select Compute

You can store this calculation as a feature as well.

Best regards,

Ravi,

make sure you assign the corresponding density of the material to calculate the weight.

To set the density:

#Set up #Density

Be sure to put the appropriate density for how your model units are set.

Many thanks for all of you!
