Hi. I am a manufacturer of furnaces. I recently supplied an annealing furnace to a client. The operating temp of the furnace is 950 Deg C. Can anyone provide any information on the process to follow to achieve hardness of EN 24 components to 60 HRc? All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Google EN24. You will find the austenitizing temperature and quench medium. Tempering temp recommended at 300F. Whether you can achieve the hardness will be based on the thickness of the parts, temp of quench media and agitation.
