Hi

The easy way is to create a 2D component (ditto) saved in a catalog and reused when you need...

Isnt there a way to just add a grid onto the view??

No, companies using grid usually have a script to do the grid, but like fernando says you can use ditto but that would require you to have different ones for different scales and also that you trim it down. But your industri is automotive and the big question is why still use grid, the only usage is actually when you print it, as long as you are in the 3d world you dont need it. I have noticed that some companies have removed the grid today.

It is going to be printed, I need to do this in drawing space, not model space.

A quick grid can be created (in a view or on the sheet) by:
Draw a horz line
Use the offset command for distance and instances
Same for vert

yea, I was going to do that, just thought there would be some sort of grid command, but guess not. Thanks all.
