I have a lot of parts with attributes applied to referenece set and I would like to apply them to the part. By this way, I will be able to link a note to the part attribute.
I didn't find the way, does anybody have a programm to do that ?
TIA

What version of NX are you using?

Now when you say that you wish to "apply them to the part" are you only interested in a one time 'movement' from the Reference Set to the Part file?

Hi John,

Sorry, I have forgotten to say NX8.5.

And yes, I am only interested in a one time 'movement' from the Reference Set to the Part file.

OK, if you're using NX 8.5, while the Assembly is displayed and the Component of interest is being displayed using the Reference Set which has the Attributes that you wish to move to the Part file, select the Component, press MB3 and pick the 'Properties' option and select the 'Attributes' tab. At the top of the dialog in the item labeled 'Context', select 'Apply to Reference Set' and you will now see all of the attributes assigned to the Reference Set. Select the Attribute(s) that you wish to move, press MB3 and pick the 'Cut' option (or 'Copy' if you wish to play it safe). Then change the 'Context' to 'Apply to Part' and simply 'Paste' the attribute(s) (now if you used 'Copy' you'll need to go back and delete the attributes from the 'Apply to Reference Set' Context). And remember, you'll need to save the Component's Part file before any of these changes are permanent.
