Hello all,

i am seeking advice regarding appearace of gel in the production of thermal laminated film. As the raw material of thermal laminating, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) is used. And many gels appeared randomly at the laminating site (EVA-Site). Could someone explain about this phenomenon? And how to avoid this gel formation?

Thanks,
HS

Proper stabilization can be helpful in avoiding gel formation (cross-linking at high temperature). Perhaps contact Joe Webster at Stabilization Technologies as he's an expert in stabilizers for plastics.
