How to be certified to do calculation for pressure vessel?

Hi Everyone,

Is there anyone can give me a clue (or maybe links or step by step) about how to be certified to do calculation for pressure vessel?

Depends where you are .... a degreee in mechanical engineering would be a good start point. In USA, gain P.E. status, in the UK, C.Eng. status.
 
Just get some software and start banging away:)

Or you could work for a State or insurance co. as a potential boiler and pressure vessel inspector and study for the National Board exam.
 
I don't know of any certification specific to pressure vessels. For most Codes and Standards it comes down to responsibility for the work/calculations performed. Responsibility is up to the individual identified by the organization’s Quality Manual and requirements for this position. You don't necessarily need registration as a PE, although this would be very beneficial.
 
High school degree is acceptable in the old days as long as you have an experienced tutor and you are smart enough, and always ask questions, don't guess.
 
certify yourself... learn the Code you want to be certified to. not an easy task...
