How to bond cast glass to granite pillar.

We have a building project in which we want to bond

a 1" thick cast glass piece to a granite pillar in a

outdoor plaza area. Recommendations?

If the thermal expansion is the same, it may be possible
but even then within i" you can develop significant thermal
stress, since the granit may act as heat sink.
