Hi all,
In Abaqus, I have developed a viscoelastic FE model to simulate the loading of a truck tire on viscoelastic asphalt road. I have applied a sinusoidal truck tire load on the pavement. I plan to use CENER (creep dissipation energy density) to calculate dissipated energy under the tire.
My question is: how am I going to calculate dissipated energy for a specific road volume during the complete load cycle? CENER is monotonically increasing with time, should not it be looking more like a normal distribution than a cumulative dist, since I apply a sinusoidal load?
Thanks,
