hi,
Can somebody tell me how to calculate, rate of painting structures in metric tonne for a single coat?
Consider paint unit price as Y per litre with coverage of Z.
thanks in advance

You , firstly should refer to a standard book of structeral members and find area of each member e.g. UNP, HPE (area mentioned in m*2/length )and multiply that numbers at each length of your members and find total area of your structure.coverage is in Kg of paint per m*2, you should multiply total area at coverage and then find total Kg of paint.

Thanks mohtogh ,
What i was looking was some empirical formula?
I would appreciate if you could provide me that.
Regards,
