Dear everyone,

I'm trying to get the average stress from a solid part. I have the stresses and volumes at integration point extracted already. Can I use this
averagestress=(Sum(stress(i)*IVOL(i)))/Sum(IVOL) or I have to use the Gaussian integral formula to calculate the average stress?

Thanks a lot in advance!
