How to calculate the saved Energy resulting from Cold water pipe isolation

Hi Professionals,
we have water cooling units ( 400KW/fixed rpm), there are about 400 m. / 5" pipes which are not isolated.
how can i calculate the amount of the saved energy if i isolate them.
r there tables/charts/software... ?

Calculate the heat gain without insulation.
Calculate the heat gain with insulation.
Subtract the second from the first.
 
The simplest thing to do now is to measure the temperature difference at the start and end of the pipe. Your mass flow rate and specific heat of water and the temperature difference will tell you how much heat you are gaining.

Why the pipe to be isolated? Is it a dead end pipe?
If the pipe is not used, it's good to isolate it for saving the costs of the energy and labor to maintain the pipe.

sorry it is insulation :)
The pipes are used, rest insulation work has not been done and postponed (can be) !!!!

i am an old engineer and have never worked with heat transfer and thermodynamic ( simply out of my work scope).
