can someone tell me how to calculate weight of MS pipe.i am in need of thumbrule for calculating things like "cost/inch/meter"

If you use a standard schedule then usually this will also list weight/m (ft whatever).

If you dont, simply multiply wall thickness with OD and lenght and density of steel (around 7900 kg/m3) and there you have it.
