Hi guys, can you help me please?
i am a new abaqus user and i would like to do this:

i have 2 adjacents solids elements (deformable), and i need to "connect" two adjacents edges so that the Uy of node's edges of the solid's 1 = Uy of neighbor node's edges of the solid's 2

i tried to do this with contraints options but it seems that is not posible to make a diplacement relationship between two edges. I achieved to do this between 2 nodes with a contraints/equation, but i have severals nodes on the edges and i don't want to make a equation for each node.

in resume i want to say:

Ux(n1) = Ux(n5); Ux(n2) = Ux(n6); Ux(n3) = Ux(n7); Ux(n4) = Ux(n8)...

*-----*-----*-----*
| solid 1 |

*-----*-----*-----*
n1 n2 n3 n4

n5 n6 n7 n8
*-----*-----*-----*
| solid 2 |

*-----*-----*-----*

how is posible to do this?
