Lets assume there is box, meshed with quad shell elements i.e. nodes and elements on exterior walls. I want to unselect/delete shells but keep the nodes and remesh with solid elements forcing the solid elements of exterior walls to be formed through the existing nodes. Is there any way other than manually creating the elements or using EGEN? EGEN can't help because nodes are not equally spaced.
Any hint would be appreciated.
