Hi,
I am trying to create NX drawing with linear dimension option. However I am unabke to get dimension as it is shown in GREEN color, when I use linear dimension it is coming out as one shown in RED color.

What alignment settings needs to be used to get dimension as shown in green color. Dimension arrow instead of being slant has to be vertical and then shown dimension. Thanks in advance.

I always end up sketching lines on the view to achieve this. Not very elegant, but I have not found a better way. Anyone?

At first glance, this appears to be a vertical dimension that they have angled for some reason. To check/change this, right click on the green dimension and go to settings -> line/arrow -> extension line -> extension line angle.

Hi TheTick, well I tried using lines but did not work for me.

cowski, thanks for the input it worked somehow I did not realize that I need to use vertical dimension and then tilt it by angle, probably I was fixed to use linear dimension using vector for orientation. Sometimes quite simple things we do get it quite complicated. Thanks for the post cheers !!!
