Hello,

I am new with NX Routing Mechanical.

Can someone shed some light on how to create a bill of material for Mechanical Routing Application, which includes cut length, quantity, etc?

I have tried to understand the .ptb file. What I do achieve is I manage to see the attribute of cut length at the sweep feature (created from the Stock command), but I have no idea how to put this information into the Part list, whether in the Routing or Drafting Application...

Thank you.

Hello, can You provide some example of Your assembly, because I'm not familiar in routing, but I can do this in modelling.

With best regards

Hello Niedzviedz,

Thanks for your reply. What version of NX file do you prefer?

Thanks,

Hi Tuw,
Did you try "Tools-->Routing Bill of Materials" from Routing Application...
If it is not listing the stock data, check in the customer defaults whether stock data is selected to be added in Routing BOM.
Hope it helps...

Hello Nelani,

It works! the customer default for Routing Bill of Material does not include Stock.
After checking it, the Bill of Material created do include Stock information. Thanks and problem solved!
