how to create components at run time

Does anyone know how to create components like textboxes, labels at runtime and add to the form. If at all created then how to access each component. I need to create them at runtime because if i plot one curve then i have to show the details of that single curve and if i display more then i have to disaply the details of each curve. If u know abt this r do u know some site where i can get help regarding this reply me.

Use the 'uicontrol' command.
Something like this...

h = uicontrol('Style', 'pushbutton', 'String', 'Clear',...
    'Position', [20 150 100 70], 'Callback', 'cla');
