How to Create Copy Geom Feature?

Hi,

I'm trying to create a copy geom feature in one of the parts I have in my assembly.

I've selected modify... part... feature... create... data sharing... and when I try to select Copy Geom I can't because it's greyed out. How/what do I need to do to select it?

I am pretty sure you can only do this from the assembly mode.

How do I do it in assembly mode???

That's where I'm having problems. I have an assembly pulled up - but can't figure out how to create the copy geom feature.

While under the assembly menu... If I select Feature.... create... Data Sharing... I still can't select CopyGeom because it is greyed out.

Likewise, in the situation I stated above (trying to modify a part within the assembly).

I should also point out that within my assembly I have two parts... The first part is the part which I wish to copy the geometry from... The second is the part I wish to copy the geometry to.

Hmmmm....

Do I possibly need an Advanced Assembly license to create a copy Geom Feature?

Create first a "published geometry" in the part you're copying from, and use it to create your copy geometry
