How to create fake dimensions in NX 8.0

How can I create a fake dimension (overwrite the actual value) in NX 8.0?

1) create a dimension.
2) Edit - Annotation - text, select the text on the dimension , enter a fake value, Done.

i don't have it... they must have removed it in 8.0 uggggh

Make sure you are in drafting mode. Start ---> Drafting. Its definitely there in NX8.

It may be hidden in the role you are using. Try using the command finder to search for "edit text"; click the one that refers to Edit -> Annotation -> Text.

got it.. thanks all!!! and you have to select the command first and then the dimension...
