Hi all,

We have a option in NX to customize the toolbar. we can create new tool bars with many drop down buttons to place our commands like macros, journals e.t.c. But, it is not creating .tbr file.

Can anyone help in creating .tbr file with existing toolbar....

My requirement:
I am having a toolbar with some macros. I need to save that toolbar in .tbr file.

Thanks & Regards,
Sam

My intention is not to create .tbr file..

I need to share my toolbar to all my users....

Please let me know if there is any best option, than sharing .tbr file

I am using NX 7.5
OS: Window 7

Thanks & Regards,
Sam

Hi Sam,
Although i am not an expert in this regards but you can save a USER ROLE at your end (and Save the dialog memory also) and share the .mtx as well as the dialog file .dlx (i am not sure if the dialog files got created in NX7 alongwith .mtx files) . the dlx files as far as i know embedes the complete code along with it so you can share it with other users) but i guess this was added from NX8 onwards.
I will let experts comment on it rather.

In addition you can look for the .UTD files also.If you have NX documentation winstalled then search for the .utd files.I hope that will be worth considering.

Hi sdeters,

I didn`t have an WebKey account. When I am trying to create. It was asking for Sold-to-Id code.

Thanks & Regards,
Sam

You may already have a WebKey access code; go to Help -> About NX -> System Information and look for the WebKey access code. If it isn't there, you should have the ServerID, which (I think) is the same as the Sold To ID.

I assume your maintance is all up to date. Go to help then go to system information in NX. In my help file my sold to id is the same as the server ID. Or you can export out an NX log file under help then log file. It should be in there also.
