Hey

Just a simple question.

Im using Acad14 at work and Acad 2000 at home. At work when i click on a line , without first typing a command (eg. the two blue boxes show up at the end of the line), the layer and linetype is imediately displayed in the layer and linetype menus, therefore i know what layer this line is in automatically.

But when in Acad 2000, when i click on the line , the layer or linetype is not displayed as above

How do i customize it so that my Acad 2000 works as the Acad 14?

Thanks

Dear danieldoral,
The AutoCAD 2000 is similar to AutoCAD R14 for the mentioned facility. It seems there is some problems with your AutoCAD 2000.

Go to your "properties dialog box" "options dialog box", command line, "pr" or "op". Choose the "Selection" tab. Make sure that the Noun/Verb selection check box is checked. I had the same problem some time ago, it took me a few days to figure it out.
Hope that this helps. Charles S. Parnell

The easier option is to set the veriable "pickfirst" to 1

Command: pickfirst

Enter new value for PICKFIRST <0>: 1
