Hi,

I am modelling a cell contraction on a layer of substrate.

The cell model is axisymmetric (but I didn't model it with axisymmetric modelling space) and I want to apply a initial stress (in predefined field) to simulate the cell contraction force towards the cylindrical centre.

So how can I define the initial stress in 3D model with the stress in the cylindrical coordinate?

I have succeeded in applying central surface traction on a material face, but failed to define initial stress in predefined field because there's no option for coordinate selection.

Thanks

Wyn
