How to determine RVE size for multiscale analysis of composites??

Is there a standard or method to determine RVE size for multiscale analysis of composites? Suppose the macroscale FE model has minimum and maximum size elements, does the RVE have to be of a size within this limit, or something else?

The RVE has to be related to the physical architecture of the material, and the type of analysis being done. FE mesh has to accomodate that.

I'm using ABAQUS/Explicit, can you elaborate on that?
