how to determine the mark up? 1

The carbon steel expanded metal price changes more than 10% in one week,how do I determine the mark up on our finished product?(we manufacture protective enclosures for backflow preventers,portable generators,etc.)

You either:

> change your price weekly or daily and match market conditions
> set your price well above perturbations
> set your price to take occasional hits

Seems to be your choice...

Thank you so much IRstuff.Setting the price well above perturbations is a very good idea since I have to give the distributor a price list at least for 6 months.
