How to determine the width of a beam waist in laser cutting?

Hi all,

I have to determine the width of beam waist w0 for laser cutting machines, and here is the info I have:
wavelength, beam parameter product, beam quality (mm*mrad), minimum laser light cable diameter
But I don't have the divergence angle theta...

I consulted the website:
It says I may assume the core diameter to be 2*w0, if it is a single-mode fiber. However, both single-mode and multi-mode fibers are used in laser cutting according to the link below:

Is there a general beam waist which is commonly used in laser cutting?
Or is it suitable to assume the beam waist is 2mm wide, and the divergence angle is 2mrad from the beam quality?
