Some one ask me how to do a vertical and horizontal broken view in one single view.

CATIA v17.

I can only do it with some work around.

Do you guys have better solution?

What are you doing now? Need a reference to relate if I have a better solution

I an isolate the view then do what I want.

I guessing you want to cut down say a square piece so you just have the corners. I tried I noticed like you already have I guess that you can add more broken views in the same view but they have to be in the same direction.

What I did, don't know if it's better, but it's associative atleast, is to copy the view three times so I have four and then cut them down one by one with "Clipping view profile" to finally position them where I want.

Azrael - your suggestion is good - but only if you have the standard settings set to hide the clipping lines on 3 out of 4 sides. (it should remain at the break line) If this is not specified in the standard, the lines come back every time you update the drawing/view.

I can't use this method with a lot of customers because of this constraint. (and I am not allowed to change their standard)

Thanks a lot.

The thing is that I still need to dimension the overall size. It is hard to do it cross views.

What I can think about is to create bodies for the corners in part, then make the drawing view. and use fake dimension to dimension the overall size.
