How to drawing a polyline (continuously connected lines) in Drafting/2D drawing? 1

I see many drawings have many objects appeared as “Polyline” but none of the tool can create a polyline. Even a rectangle one just creates 4 x “Line”. I try to google but Google fails me.

My question is: how do I create a “Polyline” object in a 2D?

maybe polyline come from imported format (dxf or other...)

Polylines can be generated on views by projecting 3D-geometry. You can't create them yourself.
