I am running WF 3.0 with a network license.

(Disclaimer: I am an engineer and sort of new on ProE.)

I am trying to do top-level design, like designing a computer mouse and splitting it into individual parts that maintain their associativity to the overall shape.

Problem is, I don't see "Publish Geometry" or "Copy Geometry" listed in the Insert->Shared Data-> menu. We have AAX but I have no clue how to get it to install when I load up ProE.

Thoughts?

First, verify what modules you are getting when you start Pro/E. Got to Help/Techical Support Info and scroll down a bit to see the Configured Option Modules. If Advanced_Assembly_SET* is not shown then you need to reconfigure your startup command to grab it. If you have a sys admin they probably know how to do it. If not, you will have to run ptcsetup and create a new startup batch file that grabs the AAX licenses. There is an obscure step in the process that is easy to skip. I forget exactly what it is called but something like "configure license". It will show you your foundation license and options like AAX which you have to add & then make a new startup batch file. You can actually do this yourself with a text editor if you know how to read the license file.
