Hello!
I am not en experienced ANSYS user and I have a small problem.
I have an ANSYS model (.db file).
My software can import ANSYS models in .ANS and .CDB formats
At the moment I found how to create .cdb files - CDWRITE command. Unfortunately .cdb format does not include beams and rigid elements.
How to create .ANS file in ANSYS?
I attach an example of ANS-flie with one beam, one plate and one rigid element in case it might help.

Thank you very much for help!

Since when does *.cdb format not include rigid or beam elements??? CWRITE will write all selected entities to the archive file. Perhaps your software does not support these elements? What are you using?

The *.ans extension is typically used as the start file for Ansys to configure preferences, etc. File extensions are for the most part always arbitrary though so it should not really matter what the extension is.

The problem is that when we import the cdb-file back to ANSYS there are no beams or rigid elements, only bar elements.
I am working with FEMAP and it supports import of beams and rigids from ANSYS.
I don't have ANSYS myself and it is my friend who is trying to export the model for me. He is not experienced user either.
Can it be some mistake durig the export?
