Hi Guy,

I have some simple questions. Where can I find the .msg file? I can find only .dat and .inp files in my working directory. Where can I check the resultant applied loadings in my model after the (processing)job is done. Thanks. BTW, how can I change the scale factor for the displacement in contour (ABAQUS/CAE in ver. 6.6). I tried to find them in the manual, but nothing. Thanks a lot.

You can change display scale factor following:
1. go to menu Options
2. Click on "common" option
3. then you will find "deformation scale factor"

Thanks for answer.

I found the .msg file also. It's in the same directory. But, where can I check the resultant load in my model? I just want to ensure the applied load is correct. Thanks.

There's a print command with the option totals=yes. The following line should be RF. That will give you the total reaction force for the model to check against your total input load.

thanks.

we can check the sum of the reaction force in all nodes in order to make sure the applied resultant forces/pressure is correct.
