Hi

I am new to adams. I have made a simple model consisting of two cubes, one resting over the other. I have fixed lower block to ground and defined a contact between the two blocks. I want to know the reaction force on lower block due to the weight of the upper block. The other thing is that the upper block doesn't remain perfectly stationary on the lower block and has small vibrations. Any help is appreciated.

What GUI are you using - ADAMS VIEW at a guess?

In solver language you need to create a REQUEST.

If you hit the graph icon in the bottom right of the main toolbox it will take you into the post processor where you can graph the contact forces directly.

I strongly suggest you do the LATCH tutorial as the question you have asked is covered thoroughly.

Cheers
