Hi friends,
I am considering the use of universal shaft between two parallel shafts. The casings of the input and output are not precisely built and I need to adjust the length of the universal shaft to install them. The spline shaft solve this problem but I may have trouble with the vibration. The Input has naturally high level of vibration that should be damped as much as possible and prevented from output. I am worry about float spline and its axial vibration that may cause noise or damage. Is there any way to fix the axial position of spline reliably after the length adjustment? I think it can eliminate any axial vibrations.
Please note that the shaft must work in high temperature (300 C).
Thank you in advance.
