How to Get Model Image From API?

Does anyone know how to get an image of the currently opened model through the API? It would be nice to be able to save it out as a jpg, bmp, png, ...

I forgot to mention that basically I want to perform the same thing through the API that you can do by File->Save a Copy and then selecting JPG in the type combo box. Again, I appreciate any help!

Take a look at the ProRasterFileWrite() routine.

Set the following 3 config.pro settings:

save_bitmap (allows to save screen image everytime you save model)
save_bitmap_type (saves as jpg, bmp...)
bitmap_size (file size in pixels)
