I hope you guys are doing well.

I have been studying for the power engineering 3rd class 3A2 EXAM in Toronto, Canada.

In this case, How can I find the S value in the ASME section B pard D book? When I check the table 1A at 300 celsius for the SA-302-B, I see 22.9 ksi.

So if I convert 22.9 ksi to mpa, it's 15230.52. It's not even close!

I have been struggling to find S value in Mpa for 2 hours.

Please help me!

Thank you so much!

Since you are working in SI units, it would be better to use the SI version of Section II Part D. This would directly give 158 MPa, as correctly converted by mskds545 above.

If you can't get the SI version of Section II Part D I suggest you consult Section VIII Division 1 Appendix GG Table GG-3 for conversion factors.
