how to get sections of beam from solid

Hi, I got solid model of blade reconstructed from stl. I want to model this solid part in ANSYS as beam, so I need parallel sections with constant spacing. Sections should be areas. I 'll export them as areas in IGES format. What is the best way to make this sections?
It is for school.
