Hello all,
I am using NX2 Modeling, TOOLS > MATERIALS PROPERTIES then selecting an existing material from the library I apply this to the model.
Without creating an attribute to represent this same material; how else can I find the correct, specific syntax to have UG display this library matl in the Asy Nav column?
I have tried using many variations of db_part_matl, matl, material as a custom column and many many others all with no success.
Yes, I could create an attribute to show this however this is 1. and additional manual process and for hundreds of files not practical. 2 Would be well prone to inaccuracies because it is not trully linked to the actual model property.
Having UG read the true material property from the file of what has been appiled to the model from the library is clearly the most desirable method.
Unfortunatley I do not have access to create GRIP routines or other complicated techniques or similar methods so this will not be of any help but thanks for the thought.
So thanks in advance and I look forward to hearing you thought and comments.
Best Regards
Dave
