How to have NX remember setting for 'Change Displayed Part' options...

If I have a LOT of parts open in memory, and when changing from one part to another, I often use the Window > More > Search Text functionality. If you know the part number or even just the first part of the filename, there's a setting called 'Begin Searching Immediately After Each Keystroke' in the Options, which makes switching parts fairly fast. But this Option seems to be forgotten whenever NX is restarted.

Is there a way to make this setting persistent?

Since the...

Window -> More...

...dialog is still an 'old-style', pre-NX 5 dialog, it does not support Dialog Memory, which is the new mechanism (introduced in NX 5) for saving dialog settings and options from one session to the next. If and when this dialog gets updated using the new tools, it will likely behave as you would like it to. But until then, there is really nothing that can be done.

Just as a comment on the post. Yes I think it would be nice if that dialog was more easily searchable, and it does seem a little tired and outdated. If it were easily fixed it would indeed be pleasing to see that happen in the next release.
