How to hook up this motor. 1

I have a 1/3 hp, 110-115v motor made by Emerson Electric. On one end there is a "cavity" with "paddle" type connectors. The cover plate is missing and I suspect the wiring diagram was on that. Can someone please help me with installing a new plug on this beast?

The lugs are numbered, with the exception of the two on the far left. They appear to have the letter "P" next to them. I was going to post a drawing but that isn't going to work.

The cavity is roughly in the shape of a crescent or arc, about 3 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches high. Starting on the left, there are two lugs labled "P", one above the other. Just to the right of the lower lug is the #4. Immediately to the right of that is #2. Moving to the right and slightly up almost centered is #1. Again to the right comes #5 and finally in the lower right corner is #3.

Did you ever get a response? I have a similar question about a 1/3 HP Baldor motor with a different configuration (3threew terminal screws vertical configuration)and wondered if there is a web site with these wiring diagrams?

If you have the nameplate from the motor you can type in the catalog unmber or the spec number located right on the nameplate. You should then be able to get the connection diagram right off the website.
