Hello,

My model is multistep (2 step) analysis (standard). In first step, a part is bended and then it should be bonded to other parts in second step. So, in order to create the contact in second step, I have to use contact pair because tie contact constraint cannot be deactivate/activate according to steps. Thus, how can I define contact pair instead of tie contact?

Best regards

You can define contact property with no separation and rough friction behavior or use surface-based cohesive behavior for so called sticky contact.

I think that contact property with no separation and rough friction behavior is valid for explicit analysis, am I right? My analysis is not explicit. Now I am trying to create normal behavior (hard contact) and tengential behaviour (defining high friction). I can try the cohesive behavior which you mentioned. In addition, I have some gaps between my contacts.
