How to import in NX5, 6, 7 or 7.5 an AutodeskDesignCad file (dwf extension) ?

From what I've read, the AutoDesk .dwf extension is used for drawing files intended to be shared on the 'web'. In fact, it sounds a bit like Adobe's PDF files or perhaps something closer to an 'E-drawing'. If this is true, then I suspect that they contain data records which may not be compatible with traditional CAD authoring systems, such as NX.

If these are Drawing files, perhaps you should be asking for them in .dwg format instead.

John Is correct. DWF files are for viewing only. Ask the person who sent you this file to give a Autocad DWG. There is a free viewer for DWF. If you try to use a third party software to try to convert the file to DXF the DXF file will not be accurate.
