We utilize maximo as our CMMS for maintenance, MOCs, quality/safety incidents, etc.
I’m on the reliability side and would like us to better track item usage. We’re a small site looking to incorporate item assignment via barcodes, but I find it difficult to see how effective this would be. Current issue is that items and parts aren’t always assigned in work orders, or they’re not assigned to the correct asset. I’m hoping to change this with the new planner we have coming in - but I don’t want their job to be solely reviewing work orders to ensure the correct asset is used.
